300 Years in the Making!

Gary Barbera and The BarberaCares Street Team Front and Center with The Gary Barbera Jeep Gladiator and Prowler driving the Upper Dublin Tricentennial Parade at the Temple Ambler Campus supporting Bucks County and Montgomery County

Gary Barbera and his BarberaCares team—including the famous BarberaCares Bear—have been partnering with the Miss Philadelphia pageant for over 20 years. Through this partnership they’ve met many local pageant winners and collaborate with the lovely ladies for many community events. BarberaCares has had the privilege of driving pageant winners in many parades over the past several years.

The Upper Dublin Tricentennial Parade featured the following pageant winners in the Gary BarberaCares parade vehicles, the all new and exciting Jeep Gladiator and one of Gary Barbera’s most requested parade inclusions the Gary Barbera Prowler :

-Miss Bucks County (Sarah Hughes)

-Miss Montgomery County (Lexi Brooks)

-Miss Liberty Bell (Jenna Monterana)

2019 marks Upper Dublin Township’s Tricentennial. Upper Dublin Township was formally incorporated as a Township in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1719. In celebration of this historic milestone, the Upper Dublin Township Tricentennial Committee has planned many exciting events for 2019.

The Gary Barbera BarberaCares Program Team had a fabulous time driving in the parade, interacting with the fine folks of Upper Dublin and meeting the Grand Marshall, 97 year old Mary Winslow, a lifelong resident of Upper Dublin. At the conclusion of the parade there was a festival and car show at Upper Dublin High School where the BarberaCares Bear danced and posed for pictures with the community attendees. Thank you to the fine community of Upper Dublin for hosting such a wonderful event.  The entire BarberaCares Program Team had a fabulous afternoon spending time with the community.

Gary Barbera’s on the Boulevard and the Gary BarberaCares Program including the BarberaCares Bear are celebrating their 30th Anniversary of sharing and caring for our hometown heroes.
