Campbell’s Field Accepting Unwrapped Toys to Benefit Boys and Girls Club of Camden County

CAMDEN, N.J. – The Riversharks are teaming up with the Gary Barbera for a holiday toy drive benefitting children in the local community.  From December 16, 2013 until January 3, 2014, fans can donate unused, unwrapped toys to Campbell’s Field from Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.  All toys will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Camden County this holiday season.

“We’re always looking for opportunities to give back to our community, so we jumped at the chance to join with Gary Barbera and help to make a difference,” said Riversharks President and General Manager Adam Lorber.  “The Riversharks are proud to be helping out the Boys and Girls Club of Camden County this holiday season, and we’re looking forward to making it a memorable one for some children this year.”

In particular, the Riversharks are seeking gifts for children aged 6-12 years.  Educational games such as checkers, chess, and monopoly are appreciated, as is any gift geared towards children in that age range.  Everyone who donates a gift will also receive two tickets to a home game at Campbell’s Field this season.

Campbell’s Field will be closed from December 25 to January 1.  Toy donations will not be accepted during that time.
