JFS vs JCC Golf Tournament May 26th
Tournament to Feature Contests, Activities, Prizes & More!
(Margate, NJ – May 18, 2016) – Each year, the JFS vs JCC Golf Tournament combines competition with fun and the 2016 tournament will be no different, offering a great day of golf, contests, and prizes. More than 120 golfers are expected to gather at Linwood Country Club on May 26th for the third annual tournament. Typically a sold out event, the tournament features an activity or contest on almost every hole. Once again this year, JFS and JCC are proud to partner with charity minded “Philly Car Guy” Gary Barbera for the Hole-in-One grand prize of a 2016 Jeep Patriot 2-year lease. Both JFS and the JCC look forward to bringing the community together for a great fundraising event and hope to raise $60,000 to benefit both agencies’ programs and services.
Included with play are contests such as closest to the pin, hole in one, squiggle line and more. Golfers can also purchase a $100 package that includes novelty contests such as putting, hit the boat, inside the circle, chip off the deck and string, kick and throw as well as two mulligans and a raffle entry. Many holes will feature fun activities such as beer and liquor tastings and food samplings. Great prizes include hotel packages, restaurant dine-around, golf foursomes, fitness gift certificates, car detailing and more.
Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 am with a shotgun start at 1 pm. Following golf, there will be a cocktail dinner reception featuring a craft beer tasting, novelty photo booth, chair massages, silent auction, hors d’oeuvres and a barbeque dinner. The individual play rate is $225. Due to the high demand, golfer spots are limited. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
The funds raised will help JFS and the Katz JCC further their mission to provide programs and services that enhance and enrich the lives of individuals and families in Atlantic County.
