In 2002 just as Columbia was about to release the first Spider-Man Movie, Dodge Provided 2 Spider-Man Vipers for a Cingular Wireless Sweepstakes. The Spider-Man Dodge Vipers were painted with a Marvel Spider-Man theme.
Across the country the Spider-Man Viper traveled and made its way to Philadelphia to Gary Barbera’s where Gary and Gene Barbera visited neighbor, friend, client Andy Reid and his family to give them the first look at the now infamous Spider-man Viper
Two custom designed Spider-Man Dodge Vipers were created for giveaway in a sweepstakes sponsored by Cingular Wireless. In conjunction with the release of the new Columbia pictures movie Spider-Man, participants will have a chance to win one of two Dodge Vipers custom painted with the web design, logo, and red and blue of the marvel comic-based superhero.
An American roadster that combines aerodynamic design, a sculpted body, scooped vents and exotic, aggressive styling, the Dodge Viper takes on an even more distinctive look with the custom painted design. The lightweight 8.0-liter V10 engine that pounds out 450 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 490 pound-feet of torque at 3,700 rpm was a perfect combination with the sweepstakes theme of “more than one way to fly”.
